LONDON MEISTER, CSW
Experience has shown me the power of deep listening, empathy, and discovering new narratives.
Now I aim to provide that for others.
I understand on a personal level the challenges minority communities face. My clinical experience includes working with LGBTQ young adults, relationships, trafficking victims, survivors of abuse, immigrants, and refugees building lives in a new country. My diverse background allows me to help each client feel understood.
My therapeutic foundation is in narrative therapy - helping rewrite the limiting stories we tell ourselves. I also draw from somatic techniques to address trauma in the body, CBT to shift unhelpful thought patterns, and more. Each session is tailored to your needs and goals using proven methods.
My background
we find healing when our story is finally heard & validated.
-
With trauma, our bodies and stories often feel “stuck”. I use somatic exercises to help process memories and emotions held in the body. Talk therapy helps us find empowering narratives. Over time, we can transform pain into post-traumatic growth. My role is to walk alongside you, providng comassionate support and new perspectives.
-
Having worked with LGBTQ and abuse survivors (including religious trauma), I understand the deep woulds inflicted by prejudice. My role is to provide a space where your whole self is celebrated and affirmed. Together we can rewrite harmful messages and build self-acceptance.
-
I became a therapist because I recognized the incredible power of having someone bear witness to your story with empathy and wisdom. I believe human connection and understanding can profoundly heal and change us. My hope is that therapy helps you reclaim your power to live feely an authentically. Your healing inspires others.
-
I create a welcoming space for refugees and immigrants to feel truly seen and heard. Together we process traumas, celebrate strengths, and rewrite narratives of resilience. My role is to empower and affirm in the midst of transition.
